That's a real Quentin Tarantino movie for sure, but besides elements inspired by Italian director Enzo Castellari's 1978 movie Inglorious Bastards, there seems to be some influence from Charlie Chaplin (the way the crazy German dictator is portrayed)!

Those gruesome posters are somewhat in contrast with the trailer of Inglourious Basterds: those Inglourious Basterds movie posters let us think that there could much more violence than expected. Is that a marketing trick from Quentin Tarantino?
